OMNITEC Solutions (https://www.omnitecinc.com) is looking for a motivated and innovative Chief of Cyber Security to lead a small team of cyber security specialists to do great things for our DOD client.  We need a leader with hands on experience, and big picture know how to run RMF for our ever growing program. Take the reins on this operation and help build the program. 

 

Our team was just rewarded with a contract extension of 5 years and $70M+, which follows a previous 5 year contract, so this team is stable, high performing, and growing! Come be part of our continuing effort to understand and implement emerging next-generation best practices such as running a lean enterprise, version control, and managing Infrastructure as Code. Help us as we transition our infrastructure and processes into a cloud-based, highly scalable, and efficient environment.

 

Quick Note #1US citizenship and either an active Secret clearance or the ability to pass the background investigation required to immediately obtain an interim Secret clearance required.

 

Quick Note #2: Partial remote/telecommute hours are available (after initial training & client approval) but you must reside locally to the 20755 area. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.
  • Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes.
  • Develop and enhance an ATO for move to the cloud, and implement and enforce DOD Framework.
  • Understand and interact with related disciplines through committees to ensure the consistent
  • Application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services.
  • Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration or a technology related field required.
  • CISSP or CISM.
  • Minimum of eight to 12 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs.
  • Knowledge of NIST framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of personal integrity.
  • Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams.
  • Specific experience in Agile software development.
  • Working understanding of ACAS and HBSS.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Cloud computing/Elastic computing across virtualized environments.
  • AWS or Azure certification preferred.
